Travel Shop is a owned by Kystriksveien Reiseliv located in Steinkjer, and which contains travel related merchandise with a special connection to the Scenic road Kystriksveien.
We take reservations for any misprints concerning pricing and information about merchandise/services on this web site. Please contact us if you have any questions. It is our desire to provide you with good service and a successful shopping experience.
All prices are in Norwegian kroner and these are displayed as both including and excluding Value Added Tax in the shopping cart. The total cost of your purchase will be presented before ordering and will include all charges related to the purchase such as postage and shipping costs, etc.
Processing of order and delivery
After ordering, customers will receive an order confirmation via e-mail. Orders are processed daily on Monday through Friday. Merchandise is normally shipped by us on the same day as payment is received (more details under the Payment section below), and maximally 2 days after receipt of payment. If an item is out of stock, we will contact the customer by telephone or via e-mail. The customer can then choose whether to have the purchase refunded or wait until the item is back in stock.
We ship all merchandise via parcel post. We use Norway Post’s standard rates for all shipments.
Payment is made in advance – either via credit card or per invoice. In the case of invoice payments, the merchandise will be shipped as soon as payment is received. For credit card payments, shipment will be made as soon as the order has been processed.
Kystriksveien Reiseliv AS handles personal data in accordance with the Norwegian Law governing personal data. Information that can be connected to you personally will never be made available to third party companies or be connected to other external databases.
When you shop with Kystriksveien Reiseliv AS, your payment is processed by Nets, which is a secure, electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard/EuroCard. All card information is stored in accordance with the card provider’s rules and guidelines.
If you wish to cancel a purchase, please contact us by telephone or via e-mail. If payment to us has already been completed, your money will be refunded within a maximum of 30 days. If you have received the merchandise, it must be returned to Kystriksveien Reiseliv AS before a refund can be made.
If there is a discrepancy with your merchandise, you must provide Kystriksveien Reiseliv AS with written notification that you wish to make a claim concerning the discrepancy within a reasonable amount of time after you identified it. Kystriksveien Reiseliv AS will then provide you with instructions about what steps to take next. The rules concerning such claims are available in the Norwegian Law governing consumer purchases.
Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to the Norwegian Law governing the right of withdrawal, this right is subject to a deadline based on the date of receipt of merchandise by the purchaser and extending 14 days forward. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, return the merchandise in its original condition and attach a completed withdrawal form. You will then be refunded the amount paid. The purchaser shall pay for return postage and shipping costs. View the withdrawal form for more detailed information.
If the purchaser has not received a withdrawal form in writing or via some other tangible media (e.g. e-mail, CD, DVD), the withdrawal deadline shall be extended to 3 months. The withdrawal form shall be fully completed with Kystriksveien Reiseliv AS when the form is received. The right of withdrawal applies to consumer purchases, whereas sales to commercial enterprises are not included in the terms of the Norwegian Law governing consumer purchases.
